DESCRIPTION:On December 13th\, 2025 come experience Payson Parks and Recreation’s 3rd Annual Winter Wonderland and our 36th annual Electric Light Parade. The event will be held at Green Valley Park. There will be fun for all! Kids can enjoy our festive inflatables and games on the lawn. Santa will make an appearance for pictures by the lake from 1:30-5pm. Attendees can enjoy the picnic area after visiting our food vendors. There will also be merchandise vendors on site for those of you looking for the perfect Christmas gifts. \nAnd from 3pm to 5pm\, join Sonoran Swing for live music at the Green Valley Performance Stage. \nTo kick off the holiday lights\, our ceremonial Christmas Tree Lighting will take place at 5:30pm at Deming Pioneer Park. Make sure to walk down Main Street afterwards and find a spot for the best Electric Light Parade around! The parade will begin at 6pm and will head down Main Street to the Sawmill Theater. DESCRIPTION:ABOUT JACOB ACOSTA: \nJacob Acosta is a Tucson-based international recording and performing artist with a degree in classical guitar and education. He has been featured on National Public Radio and has written jingles for FOX\, FORD\, ESPN\, and Codeschool. Since 2008\, he has released sixteen records in genres like blues rock\, indie-shoegaze\, pop\, deep house\, progressive house\, organic house\, Americana\, and folk. He has performed at festivals and toured across the U.S. under his name and with bands like Mason\, Burning West\, HYTS\, Roll Acosta\, and Race You There. \nJacob has also collaborated with Where The Heart Is Records\, MIR Records\, and artists such as David Hohme\, Sasheen\, Jody Wisternoff\, Max and Nim\, Dustin Nantais\, and Desert Raven. His most popular local release\, Desert Sounds\, celebrates Arizona’s culture and the Southwest. A national performer for nearly two decades\, he plays Southwest folk music as a solo looping artist or with his trio. \nHis album Desert Sounds is a cinematic tribute to the Sonoran Desert\, filled with musical stories about Arizona and the region. Known as the “human jukebox\,” Jacob connects with audiences of all ages\, performing in multiple genres and up to four languages. His latest release is Saint Corazón (2024).
